Abigail Meifert is a student studying at Regent University for a BA in Animation. She has gifts in creativity, leadership, and problem solving. She is interested in using her skill sets of mentoring, training, adaptability, responsibility, and detail orientation, but can see the big picture. Abigail has had a passion for art since she was a small child. Through her classes and field experience she feels that she is constantly gaining more knowledge on how to improve. 

She is proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Software, Procreate, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe,
Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effect, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Her relevant courses have been Fundamentals of Animation; Introduction to Digital Art; Fundamentals of 2D Computer Based Animation; Intro to Sound and Motion Graphics; Comparative Anatomy and Figure Drawing; Introduction to 3D Computer Animation; Writing for Animation; Character Design, Rigging, and Animation; Art of Storyboarding; History of Animation; Portfolio Preparation; Animation in 3D; and Introduction to Drawing

She is very passionate about writing, background design, and graphic design. She has had experience working as an intern for Real Life Faith and has gained experience in how to translate clients’ desires into tangible animation projects. She also has experience working with a team on The Tin Forest at Regent University, assisting with animation principles as a background artist for turning the book into an animated short film. She looks forward to graduating and being able to jump in to her next big project while exploring new opportunities.
